CUET stands for Central Universities Common Entrance Test, which is a national-level exam conducted for admission into various undergraduate, postgraduate, and research programs offered by the participating central universities across India.

Delhi University, on the other hand, conducts its own entrance exams for admission into various undergraduate and postgraduate programs offered by the university. The entrance exams conducted by Delhi University include DUET (Delhi University Entrance Test), JAT (Joint Admission Test), and DU JAT (Delhi University Joint Admission Test).

As of right present, admissions will solely be based on CUET UG/ PG results for both undergraduate and graduate programs. As a result, the DUET test has been cancelled.

How to apply for admission in DU 2023?

To apply for admission to DU, you need to visit the official website of the University of Delhi. The website provides an online portal where you can apply for admission to various courses offered by the university.

Delhi University CUET Exam Pattern 2023:

For UG:

    • Exam Mode: The exam will be administered in an online (CBT) format.
    • Questions: Multiple-choice questions of this type will be asked during the test.
    • Medium: There are 13 languages available for the test.
    • Time allotted: The time allotted for solving the paper will be 3 hours and 15 minutes for Slot I and 3 hours and 45 minutes for Slot II.
  • No. of Questions: There will be a total of 100 questions in the exam.
  • Marking Scheme: Five marks will be given for each right response under the following marking policy.
  • Negative Marking: For each incorrect response, one mark will be subtracted.

For PG:

  • Exam Mode: The exam will be administered in an online (CBT) format.
  • Questions: Multiple-choice questions of this type will be asked during the test.
  • Medium: The examination will be given in both Hindi and English.
  • Time allotted: The question paper will be solved in a total of 2 hours.
  • Marking Scheme: Four marks will be given for each right response under the following marking policy.
  • Negative Marking: For each incorrect response, one mark will be subtracted.

Delhi University Entrance 2023 Syllabus:
