DU to introduce 3 BTech programs this year, admission through JEE Main 2023

Three BTech programs will be introduced by Delhi University in the forthcoming academic year. The students will get admitted only through the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Examination. 

These three programs introduced by the Faculty of Technology are:-

  • BTech Computer Science and Engineering
  • BTech Electronics and Communication Engineering
  • BTech Electrical Engineering 

A total of 360 students will be admitted, 120 students from each course. 

The primary subject area of study would be granted a minimum weight of 50% and a maximum weight of 65% in the BTech programs. According to the paper, the minor subject areas of study would receive the remaining weight.

In accordance with the National Education Policy, the students will have a variety of departure alternatives. A certificate is given to a student who has finished one year of study and achieved the necessary credits; a diploma is given to a student who has completed two years of study and acquired the necessary credits; and an advanced diploma is given to a student who has completed three years of study and earned the necessary credits.

After successfully completing four years, students would get a BTech degree.

For logistical assistance and closeness to the bulk of the faculties and departments on campus, these departments are needed to be located on the university’s North Campus.
